# GESY prescriptions at an on-duty pharmacy: what applies

Can you fill a GESY prescription at an on-duty pharmacy in Cyprus? What applies to contracted pharmacies and what to ask before you go.

## Where a GESY prescription can be filled

At any pharmacy contracted with the HIO, as long as the prescription comes from a doctor who is also contracted. It does not have to be your local pharmacy.

## What about the on-duty pharmacy?

If the on-duty pharmacy is contracted, it fills your prescription like any contracted pharmacy. The duty rota does not show which pharmacies are contracted, so call before you go.

## What to bring

The ID or beneficiary card you use with GESY. For an urgent prescription after 22:00, call the on-duty pharmacy first.
